TerraPura
Colchagua Valley, Chile
Founded in 2004 by Alfonso Undurraga and Jose Miguel Ovalle in Chile’s Colchagua Valley, TerraPura embodies Chile’s rich winemaking heritage. Now fully owned by Matetic Vineyards, a leader in biodynamic and organic viticulture, TerraPura pays tribute to Chile’s diverse landscapes and ecosystems—its name literally means “pure earth.”
By harnessing Chile’s unique terroirs—from the Curicó Valley Chardonnay to Itata Valley Pinot Noir and Colchagua Cabernet—TerraPura crafts wines that truly express their origins. “Each bottle reflects the ideal grape and region pairing, delivering wines with authentic Chilean character,” says winemaker Felipe Vial.
TerraPura is committed to sustainability, implementing a Greenplast recycling program to minimize plastic waste and a reforestation initiative to support local communities. Their dedication has earned them the Wines of Chile Sustainability Code, underscoring their high environmental, social, and quality standards.
