Albariño
Tasting Notes
Brilliant pale gold in color with subtle green reflections, this wine opens with vibrant aromas of citrus, pear, apple, white peach, and delicate white flowers. The palate is lively and fresh, showcasing crisp fruit flavors balanced by the rich texture characteristic of well-aged Albariño. A round, persistent finish leaves a clean and refreshing impression.
Vineyards
Sourced from small vineyard parcels throughout the Salnés Valley near the winery, these Albariño vines are planted at elevations of 50–100 meters on both flat terrain and hillside slopes. Established from 1995 onward, the vineyards are trained using both trellis and traditional pergola systems. The acidic, granite-based soils are rich in quartz with a sandy texture, while the cool oceanic climate—marked by mild temperatures and abundant annual rainfall—provides ideal conditions for vibrant, expressive wines.
Winemaking
The grapes are carefully hand-harvested in small boxes to preserve their quality before undergoing a 14-day fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation is carried out at cool temperatures of 14–16°C to fully express the aromatic character of the variety. Following a brief period of resting in stainless steel, the wine is released with freshness and vibrancy intact.
