Black Semi Sweet
The Tropical Semi Sweet wines are a new innovation from Luca Bosio – ideal for Tropical fans searching for a wine to enjoy in the colder months. The richer palate pairs well with heartier cuisine.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of strawberry jam and warm spices waft from the glass. Flavors of redcurrant, plum, and fig, with a hint of licorice and clove. Full-bodied with a delicate frizzante. A rich and sumptuous blend of Brachetto grapes, raspberries and strawberries.
Vineyards
The Brachetto grapes for this wine come from vineyards located in Santo Stefano Belbo villages, at 328 to 656 feet above sea level.
Winemaking
Vinification with the skins, 5 days of maceration followed by 5 days of fermentation in steel tanks at a low temperature of 59 F (15 C). All natural real blueberries and raspberries from the Italian Alps are then added for a contact period of 24 hours.
