Tasting Notes
The cool Los Alamos Vineyard provides crispness with tropical guava and pineapple aromas with flavors of juicy white peaches and Meyer lemon that linger on the finish.
Vineyards
The Los Alamos Vineyard is located in Santa Barbara County AVA on 172 acres. Originally planted from cuttings brought over from Europe over 40 years ago, this vineyard is home to over 20 varieties of grapes. Thick layers of clay and loam soils coupled with a temperature climate provide ideal grape growing conditions for Rhone, Burgundian, Bordeaux and Italian varieties.
Winemaking
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes were cold fermented in stainless steel.
