Forrest Wines is a family-owned winery producing some of New Zealand’s most interesting, high-quality wines. The winery was founded in Marlborough by John and Brigid Forrest— doctors who turned their skillful hands into making wine. The Forrest family was one of the first to plant in Marlborough in 1988. They own seven and manage two vineyards in the prime Wairau Valley of Marlborough with a total of 321 acres in all. Considered innovators of the industry—Dr. John Forrest led the way on screw cap innovations and is the leader in lighter alcohol wines. The family’s focus is on being different—alternate varietals, innovative processes, etc. The winery is led by daughter Beth Forrest—the winery’s general manager and winemaker. The Forrest family is on a crusade to make full-flavored, dry wine with reduced alcohol. The wines are elegant, sophisticated and speak to 30 + years of winemaking craft. Certified sustainable and vegan friendly.
