Ginger Lime Moscato
Tasting Notes
Tropical Ginger Lime is a delicious blend of Moscato wine and real Sicilian limes and ginger from Vietnam that captures the aromas and flavors of the tropics. Bright notes of tropical fruits and full, ripe limes with a hint of ginger create a balanced yet crisp and refreshing finish.
Vineyards
The Moscato grapes for this wine come from vineyards located in Santo Stefano Belbo villages, at 200 to 300 feet above sea level.
Winemaking
Vinification is via autoclave, according to the Charmat Method, until it reaches 5.5% alcohol. Then, wine undergoes cold fermentation and aging in stainless steel vats for one month, after which time it is blended with all-natural lime from Sicily and ginger from Vietnam which is added for a contact period of 24 hours and then bottled.
