Riesling
Revelation is rooted in three generations of strong, confident women steeped in vineyards, wine, and grape growing. A female force has impacted this wine at every step of the process, from the vineyards and cellar to the design, marketing, and sales.
The artwork on Revelation’s label was painted by Washington artist Katie Small. Katie’s painting, titled “Lolita”, stands as a reminder that style and strength are more than just this season’s fashion, they come from within.
Tasting Notes
The 2023 Revelation Riesling shows beautiful aromatic notes of pear, melon, and lavender layered into a fragrant perfume. The rich, nectarous texture complements flavors of juicy ripe stone fruits and pears, offering a delightful balance of sweetness and acidity.
Winemaking
This Riesling was produced from grapes harvest from our warmest, ripest blocks. All the grapes were harvested during the cool mornings to preserve freshness and handled as delicately as possible: whole cluster pressed upon receipt at the winery and fermented very cool in stainless steel tanks. Yeast was selected to ferment cool, slow, and steady to retain as much vibrant fresh aromatics as possible The fermentation was arrested with a beautiful balance of bright acidity and luscious sweet ripe fruit flavors..
