Viognier
Tasting Notes
The hand-harvested grapes for this Viognier, farmed using sustainable practices in our Los Alamos Vineyard and Santa Ynez Valley vineyards, creates a rich and exhilarating wine with hints of melon, stone fruit and citrus. This Viognier pleases with fragrant aromas of pear and apricots. The palate is softly textured with creamy stone fruit intensity, honeysuckle notes and a satisfying long finish.
Vineyards
Los Alamos Vineyard: Santa Barbara County AVA, 172 acres. Originally planted from cuttings brought over from Europe over 40 years ago, this vineyard is home to over 20 varieties of grapes. Thick layers of clay and loam soils coupled with a temperature climate provide ideal grape growing conditions for Rhone, Burgundian, Bordeaux and Italian varieties.
Winemaking
The Viognier is fermented in stainless steel.

Editors' Choice
From one of the brand's Los Alamos ranches, this is a very balanced Viognier, offering aromas of peach oil and lemon on the nose. The palate's firm texture is washed in a persistent acidity that cuts through the prominent peach and crushed stone flavors.92 points
