Tasting Notes
Considered the most sensual of all Cru Beaujolais, the Flower Label Saint-Amour is full-bodied and voluptuous with a shiny garnet color. Impressive aromatic complexity, with aromas of fruit, spices, and a hint of pepper. Light-bodied and elegant, with a superb balance. Harmonious and fresh, Saint-Amour has a seductive silky finish and notes of peach on the palate.
Vineyards
From vines over 20 years old. Saint-Amour is the northernmost Beaujolais Cru, and the smallest. The vineyards are planted on granite pebbles, which prove to produce wines that are powerful and full-bodied.
Winemaking
Harvest is conducted manually, in whole bunches fermented with indigenous yeasts.
