Tasting Notes
This G3 Red Blend is a complex and captivating wine showing rich and layered aromas, with bold black brambly fruit that’s accented by spicy pepper and a touch of earthy baked clay. On the palate, the wine is lively and fresh, with wild red berry flavors of strawberry and redcurrant that shine through. A subtle touch of toasted oak sweetness adds richness to the mid palate, while the wine finishes long and wild, with a core of ripe, brambly fruit that lingers on the palate.

100% Columbia Valley, Estate-Grown Fruit. The fruit for this wine was sourced from many of the premier blocks of the estate.
Goose Ridge Estate Winery is certified by Sustainable WA, a 3rd party sustainability program for Washington grape growers. Sustainable WA is a framework of best management practices that focus on the three pillars of sustainability; environmental responsibility, social equity, and economic viability. Goose Ridge was one of the first to gain the certification.
Winemaking
The wine’s extraction was managed during fermentation to create a balance of color, structure, and flavor. Malolactic fermentation on oak smoothed and softened the wine. The wine matured for 16 months in barrels (with 25% new oak). This new world blend of traditional Bordeaux and Rhone varieties was carefully assembled to create an expressive wine full of exotic flavor.
