Wine Facts

Winemaker Notes
The grapes for this Georges Duboeuf “Flower Label” wine come from Saint-Amour, the smallest and northernmost Beaujolais Cru. Bordering the Mâconnais of Burgundy, the cru is characterized by granite and siliceous clay soils. The vineyards are planted on granite pebbles, which produce wines that are powerful and full-bodied. Harvesting is 100% manual, and whole bunches are fermented with indigenous yeasts.
