The initial impression is followed by an unmistakable burst of fruit salad – raspberry, blackberry, strawberry and honeydew melon. The palate continues with baking spice, rose petals and buttered toast with jam. The lingering finish offers pleasant notes of cranberry sauce and holiday spices. |

Foppiano Vineyards has been growing grapes in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley since 1896. This 2021 Red Blend was crafted to celebrate this long-term legacy. To create this wine, the winery sourced fruit from its Estate, as well as select vineyards throughout the many growing regions in California. The specific vineyards chosen for this blend produced Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, Teroldego and Malbec.
Each varietal is harvested and fermented individually, using the latest techniques to extract complex flavors, pristine aromatics, and bold colors. They are blended in just the right proportion to demonstrate the best characteristics of each.

Great on its own and with summer grilling. It also pairs very well with a variety of foods including short ribs, camembert, dark chocolate, and grilled figs with balsamic reduction.
