Wine Facts

Winemaker Notes
The Ribolla Gialla is an ancient local grape, grown in the D.O.C. Collio, a hilly area of Friuli, near the border with Slovenia. Manual harvest took place in the second half of September, 2017. After a slightly grapes pressing and a clarification of the must, the fermentation starts at controlled temperatures for about 20-25 days. All winemaking and refinement takes place in stainless steel tanks. After approximately six months, the wine is ready to be bottled and enjoyed, with all its fine aromas.

Interesting Fact:
This wine was produced entirely from fruit sourced in the namesake region with the 2015 harvest taking place in September. This is a hilly area of Friuli which sits near the border of Slovenia. This offering is 100% Pinot Grigio and the fruit was harvested by hand. Fermentation took place over 20 days in a temperature controlled environment. Both fermentation and aging took place in stainless steel tanks. Bottling took place after approximately 6 months.
