In what is considered the finest vintage of the decade in Ribera del Duero, Garcia Figuero releases its exceptional 2004 Noble – a wine of intense, dark cherry-red color with beautiful light red hues. The nose is filled with ripened fruit, jam, liquorice, balsamic and mineral notes, also showing aromatic hints of spices, cedar, chocolate and toffee. The palate mirrors the aromas – a harmonious blending of fruits and wood. As it names suggests, the nobility of this wine is experienced from the very first sip to the long, lingering, velvety finish.

| Winemakers Notes: | The Tempranillo grapes used in this wine come from vines that are more than 70 years old. After being hand-harvested and undergoing cluster selection in the vineyards, the grapes are destemmed and go through gravity-controlled tanks, with two days maceration prior to fermentation. An additional 20 days of maturation follow, with malolactic fermentation taking place. The wine is aged for 21 months, 15 months in American oak (medium toasted) and six months in French Allier and Troncais oak. It then spends an additional 15 months ageing in bottle before leaving the cellar. |
