Elsa Bianchi Torrontes 2021

Overview

Intense, yellow-greenish color with a beautiful sparkle. When the glass is swirled, the typical Torrontes aromas arise with good intensity. Fruits such as fresh peach, citrus, and floral aromas of jasmine and white roses are evident. On the palate, it is a young, fresh wine with vibrant acidity and medium volume.

Wine Facts

Winemaker Notes
The grapes come from Cafayate, Salta. This is a place where Torrontes grapes fully express themselves. These vineyards have sandy, textured soils, and are of alluvial origin. The vine-training system utilized here was high trellis.

Interesting Fact
The Elsa wines are named after Dona Elsa, the late grandmother of the current Bianchi owners. Her first “casa,” still sits among the vineyards that also bear her name.

Torrontes is excellent on its own, or with shellfish, pastas, and spicier dishes like Peruvian cuisine.
